In the early 1980s, Mr. WANG Kin Chung, Peter, Chairman & CEO of Tristate, entered the family business and opened factories in Thailand through his company Hua Thai.
Utilizing his formal training as an engineer, Mr. WANG Kin Chung, Peter, began the process of restructuring Hwa Fuh’s factories from a traditional production method being applied by the garment industry which had narrow specialization with skill dependence towards the more dynamic, innovation-oriented multi-level production structure that had over time become the defining characteristic of Tristate’s manufacturing excellence.
